This week in tutor time, your child will be learning about the virtue 'Neighbourliness'.
The Art department at Thurstable School is an exciting and creative place full of visual stimulation. It is an inspiring environment in which to learn and create with a team of dedicated, highly skilled teachers.
Curriculum Intent
The department prides itself on the quality of our teaching and learning and the art curriculum is designed to enable our students to build their art skills whilst also becoming independent, creative thinkers, risk takers and explorers. Students will experience a wide variety of media, materials, techniques and processes all underpinned by research into historical and contextual sources that include major movements and artists throughout history.
