COURSES

The majority of our students follow a course comprising three A Level subjects, or the equivalent of three A-Level subjects through the BTEC route. This, alongside the Extended Project Qualification is the optimal course structure for admission to Russell Group universities.

The grade requirement for entry into Sixth Form depends upon your route of study. Please see the attachment for more details. Each subject, whether that be an A-Level or a BTEC level 2, or 3 qualification will have its own set of entry requirements.

Most qualifications stipulate the need for a minimum expected grade which will include English and or Mathematics. e.g. A Level Mathematics requires a grade 7-9 in GCSE Mathematics or Grade 6 in Mathematics with strong Algebra skills.

Students must pass their internal end of Year 12 exams in order to be guaranteed entry into Year 13.
